No Data Collection

The app does not collect, store, or share any personal or typing-related data. User privacy is fully respected, with no tracking, telemetry, or data reporting of any kind.

No Spying, No Tracking

The app does not contain any analytics, advertising trackers, or background data collection mechanisms. Your usage remains entirely private.

Two Versions: Full and Lite

There are two versions of the app:

• Full Version: Operates completely offline and does not require Internet access. This version has no network permissions and guarantees maximum privacy.
• Lite Version: Requires an Internet connection only when downloading dictionaries from GitHub (only at user's request). Aside from this, the Lite version does not make any other network requests.

Using Voice Input

Voice input functionality in Traditional T9 relies on external speech recognition services, which may require an Internet connection to operate. These services are not part of Traditional T9 and function independently.

When voice input is activated, your speech may be sent to third-party providers for processing. Traditional T9 does not record, transmit, or process the voice data, and cannot guarantee how external services handle your information.

If you are concerned about this, you may choose not to use the Voice Input feature and deny Microphone permissions when prompted.

Open-Source Transparency

Traditional T9 is open-source, meaning that anyone can review the source code to verify the privacy claims above. You can inspect the code yourself to ensure that the app does not collect or transmit any data.
